Three possible players Liverpool can sign to replace Sadio Mane

After spending six very successful years at [team 8] under Klopp, [player 1389] is keen to leave Liverpool for a new challenge. If he leaves this summer, he will be the first one to leave from the famous front three of [player 4125], Mane, and [player 1461].

Since joining the club, Mane has been one of the most significant parts of this Liverpool side. He has scored 90 goals in 196 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions. Apart from the goals he has scored, his contribution to Liverpool’s gegenpressing and his excellent work rate have been huge for Klopp.

However, now he is keen to move to a new club and to face some new challenges after Liverpool failed to reach an agreement to extend Mane’s contract at the club.

Liverpool already have the likes of Diaz and Jota, who have displayed great potential at a great age. If [player 241036] could add more goals to his game, he would be a great fit for Mane’s position. [player 159917] is an expert finisher, but his inconsistency could be an issue.

As it stands, Liverpool are looking for genuinely top players in the market to replace Mane. Let’s have a look at which players could fit that position and also be realistic in terms of the price range.

Which are the potential players Liverpool should sign to replace him?

Darwin Nunez (Benfica)?

[player 6013424] is one of the most exciting young players in Europe. He burst onto the scene this season and has grabbed a lot of attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

Liverpool have been in talks with [team 605] about the availability of Nunez, and some reports are suggesting the deal is almost done.

Nunez had an excellent season for Benfica in [league 462]. He scored a stunning 26 goals in 28 appearances and grabbed 4 assists as well. His performance in the second leg against Liverpool in the [league 2] round of 16 was the game where his fan following went onto another level.

He is quite different to Sadio Mane and won’t be a direct replacement. Although, according to some insights, [coach 455353] is thinking about changing the formation and playing with a more natural striker.

Jarrod Bowen (West Ham United)?

Probably a more similar player to Mane, [player 1592] is another exceptional player who could be the answer for Liverpool. Bowen is 25 years old, right at the age where the players come into their prime. Also, he is already a very mature player with a great attitude.

For [team 1] this season, he scored 12 goals in 36 appearances and provided 10 assists in a team that generally played on the counterattack.

He would also be great at pressing the way Klopp wants, as his work rate for [coach 455355] has been tremendous.

He also does remind us a lot of the younger version of Mane, which we saw at [team 65]. With Klopp’s guidance and adaptability to the player’s strengths, Klopp could elevate Bowen’s game to another level in terms of his end product which is already pretty high.

Raphina (Leeds United)?

Another player with a sensational left foot is Leeds United’s [player 160258]. He didn’t have the season everyone expected of him, but the whole club had a season with massive underachievement. Raphina was actually the one player who carried the side when they were struggling with multiple injuries.

He scored 11 goals and provided 3 assists in 35 [league 8] appearances which are not great numbers. Still, considering the season [team 71] had, these are the numbers that helped the club to avoid relegation.

He can play from both wings and is one of the quickest players in the league. Raphina is also excellent when it comes to beating low blocks and handling the ball in tight spaces. It is a quality that Liverpool lack when playing against low blocks.
