This season has arguably been the most disappointing season for anyone connected with [team 19] Football Club. Unai Emery had a horrible season and was inevitably sacked in November. Surprisingly, [coach 307] was given a task of rebuilding this great club. A top-half finish was looking uncertain a few weeks ago. Now finishing in the European places is unlikely. However, Arsenal can still make it to the [league 5] if they beat London rivals, [team 18], in the [league 24].
Since Arteta’s arrival, Arsenal have looked more organized defensively. In possession, they look a totally different proposition under the Spaniard. Win against [team 9] in the semi-final came as a huge surprise. They didn’t only win but also kept a clean sheet against a free-scoring Manchester City side.
Under Arteta, Arsenal play to their strengths as they use the pace of talisman [player 31739], long passing range of David Luiz. [player 186734] also looks a totally different player under Arteta. Youngster [player 16827155] has probably been Arsenal’s best player after skipper Aubameyang. [player 539961] is also excelling under new management.
Welcome to Europa League
A couple of weeks ago, European football next season seemed impossible. Now, they are one win away from getting a place in the Europa League next season. It would be a massive achievement, considering the situation earlier. With European football, Arsenal will also be able to attract better players. The economic significance of the Europa League will be a massive bonus in itself for the club.
We can’t say that it has been a good season for Arsenal, but they can end it on a high. Specifically, in Arteta’s time, the team has improved massively. Individually the players look much better, and signs of a bright future are clear. Now the question is, Can they beat Chelsea and get some silverware in an extremely disappointing season?
