What would be the best option for Henderson?
As mentioned, some of the well established and in form clubs are looking to sign him. The good thing for United here is Celtic, Everton and Leipzig are all interested in a loan, which is precisely what United prefer.
A move to Celtic is something that many fans would question as he won’t be playing at a level that will help his progress. However, with the giant status that Celtic have, his reputation won’t go down. Celtic at the moment are in shambles with outgoing Fraser Forster still not replaced. The Scottish giants are 9 points behind rivals—Rangers, who are sitting at the top. The Celtic domination could well end this season.
However, with a few crucial signings in a couple of positions, they could manage to get over the line. Dean Henderson would be a massive signing if they manage to get him. For the player as well, it wouldn’t be a bad option.
Meanwhile, RB Leipzig also remain interested in a loan move as they look for a strong keeper for the second half of the season. The German club is known for improving young players, and so Henderson could move to Germany.
Overall, a loan move is what Henderson wants and needs for his further progress, and Celtic and RB Leipzig are both great options.
