Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has supported the restart of football competitions in [country 5]. According to him, the clubs from the Brazilian [league 648] and even lower competitions could soon return to the training process. The league in the country of five-time world champions was interrupted in March due to a coronavirus pandemic.
In the event of a favorable epidemiological situation, league matches could be held in Brazil in the spring without the presence of spectators. “I am advocating the resumption of football life in the country. We are working to make it happen as soon as possible,” added Bolsonara.
Latest numbers from Brazil however do not give too much optimism for the league restart. As shown on the image, the country has not reached the peak yet and it is hard to predict how high the numbers can climb.
