The world of football has been hit by another terrible news. At the French football club team from Strassbourg, a team physician committed suicide after tested positive for Covid-19.
An extremely sad news came from the French top football league. Ligue 1’s fifth team, Stade de Reims, who was even in the Champions League game before the season break, was hit by a very tragic event. Chief physician of the team Bernard Gonzalez committed suicide after being tested positive for Covid-19.
The information was brought by the French periodical Le Parisien, but the tragic report was also confirmed by the club itself in an official statement. Professor Gonzalez was 60 years old and worked in the red-white service for two decades. In addition, his wife was also positively tested for coronavirus.
